the share count is accurate but when calculating ratios per share you must use a weighted avg. therefor, novl will get more benefit from the buyback next qtr. then they did this qtr... on the other comment about is this a case of buying back stock to keep up with option excersisng,,,,yes it is. What's wrong with that. They have to pay their employees siomehow and if they want stock and everyone else is doing it so should they.
