DLJ did reduced earnings, but they did not cut their rating.

Here it is:
Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette reduced estimates for JDA
Software's (JDAS) fourth quarter and fiscal 1999. The
brokerage company expects fourth-quarter revenue to be
$40.5 million with earnings of 16 cents a share, down from
$43.8 million and 22 cents a share. Fiscal 1999 was revised
lower to $187 million in revenue and earnings of 85 cents
compared to $200 million and a $1 a share. Donaldson
Lufkin & Jenrette maintains its "market perform" rating.
Shares closed down 1 1/16 to 7 9/16.
