A Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

As we enter this holiday, let's look at what will happen when we get back to work. Things will move quickly once we hit December(hopefully):

Dec. 4-- SatMex V
Dec. 15-31 Soyuz/G* #1
End January/Early Feb. Telstar 6
January Soyuz/G* #2
February Soyuz/G* #3
March 8 Orion 3
March Soyuz/G* #4
April Soyuz/G* #5
May/June Orion 2
May Soyuz/G* #6
June Delta/G*
June+ Telstar 7

Plenty of activity in the next few months. Seeing those dates all in a row gives me the shakes! Obviously, if the past is any guide, all will not go as planned. Who knows though--could this be the start of something new? Chief worries? Right now is when that first Soyuz goes, and how the third stage will perform in delivering our precious cargo to the desired orbital location. If that goes off without a hitch, we are off to the races. Soyuz can bang 'em out quickly after that. The Russians only get better with repetition. Other concerns involve the use of the somewhat "explosive" Delta III for Orion 3, and the untried Atlas III for Telstar 7. Hopefully Boeing will launch a dummy with the Delta III before we are forced into the guinea pig position--same goes for Lockheed. We also need to start looking at G* financing--they have to start brewing up that deal soon enough. The credit market is a bit better at this point, but I am not sure it can absorb $600 million in G* debt at any reasonable rate. The issues keeping me out of G*, namely the Soyuz launch and finances, are still with us and have yet to be addressed. I may stay out for good and just rely on Loral's ownership to get exposure there.

Eat well everyone!
