Read an article the other day in a French newspaper that they were attacking Microsoft for giving software to the french schools. They felt this was imposing a monopoly on their children, but went on to say that they would use it "until something better came along, since this was free". I don't have it any more, but this was last week in one of the south France (Cannes Area) newspapers..... very strangely worded....
