Well, the way things are going it appears we may have to scratch off the superbowl indicator this year. But how about another old piece of market wisdom -- "if the bulls have Thanksgiving, the bears have Christmas, or vice versa." Can the bulls have Christmas too? Next week starts the earnings warning season. Seems to me that this cliche has a good chance to come true (and also bring credibility back to the superbowl indicator as well).
