fuchi, cyrix said in this article that it is more excited about the consumer potential than that of bussiness/nc market. i believe cyrix knows the market they want thats why its nicknamed the media chip. as far as the means to mass produce, i'm not sure. the fact that there are partners taiwan would indicate that they are looking for a cost effective mass production( ithink somewhere you said this yourself). techweb.com i believe your right though, what if sunw kept java to themselves, where would it be now? java is a hugh wave, and is becoming a standard. the income sun recieves alone do to name reconization is unmeasureable.
