Dave: In case anyone reading these posts doesn't know what a "ger" is, the article mentioned that a ger was a tent. Many Mongolian families apparently live in gers rather than buildings. I only found out what a "ger" was by reading the newspaper article two days ago. The reason it was in the article was that the mother of one group of kids living under the street had lost her ger due to a fire -- and had no way of getting enough money to replace it. One thought I was left with from the article was Mongolia is a country in desperate need of an infusion of cash from outside, and one of the few things it has to offer is its raw resources. Therefore, its government will bend over backwards to help resource companies like MGR get resources out of the ground. It bodes well for MGR's future IMHO.
