Last time I checked, Art had an idea and was looking for sponsors for USAL. The funded US effort is EUV Ltd.

For the short to mid term, at least, EUV is just one of the contenders for next generation lithography. As Andrew Vance and others have pointed out, many have spread premature rumours of the death of optical lithography during the past decade.

There's a huge investment in the processes, chemicals and other technology surrounding optical lithography. I don't believe it's on its deathbed quite yet.
