Pat, Nice assortment of news stories. Thanks. re: Incidentally, I don't believe the NN/Siemens rumor. That's no fun. Very few things make me feel better than imagining a takeover battle for NN between Siemens and Lucent. One of those things might be adding Ericsson to the fray. Re Cdn $ increasing in value: While I'm sure the only reason could have been the NN takeover speculation, ;-) there are some who believe that improved poll ratings for the Federalists at the expense of Les Separatistes just might have played a tiny role in its ascent. Just because this has always been a factor affecting the Cdn $'s value, some think it might just be happening again. No accounting for some people's judgement. <tic> I guess I couldn't have been more wrong yesterday when I speculated that volume would be too light today to see the true assessment of NN by the Street. Or, If I was right, I can't wait til Monday. <vbg> Have a great thanksgiving, Ian.
