I have heard several times from what I think are reliable sources that 100% of Micron's output lately has been contract and it has nothing to sell on the spot market. I have also heard that some customers have had to be placed on "allocation."

Less credible is the rumour that I posted a few weeks ago that Micron's contract with DELL will be cancelled as of February, due mainly to Micron's insistence on high prices. I still think there is a chance that this rumour might be true. It even fits the recent rumour that Micron is trying to raise prices.
