Thanks, Jon. That is quite "telling." It also looks like a good place for me to find out about the requirements for AMEX.

Off the top of my head, it sounds to me as though

1) the deadline of 12/31/98 for the merger won't be met, and therefore,

2) everything reverts back to "the way it was" prior to this game!?
