The only reason Dell would drop MU based on price is if someone else is willing to sell the chips for less. With the spot market at $10 or higher I doubt if anyone is in a hurry to sell to Dell at a big discount. Negotiations on a huge contract like the MU-Dell contract will always involve plenty of rumors including cancellation, huge price changes (increases or decreases), and other things. No one including the negotiators knows exactly where things will finish until the deal is inked, so I wouldn't worry too much about rumors.
