Elliot, The UBID IPO is, IMO, unprecedented because of the existence of MALL (WCAP-COOL, CMGI-GCTY, DBCC-CBSMarketwatch etc. are different) . Here every MALL share will get 0.72 share UBID. It's naive to think that those who're buying UBID do not know of the MALL-UBID relationship.

With that in mind, the UBID IPO is indeed 1.6 MM shares. But we also have 4.1 MM MALL shares in the float that act as surrogate for UBID. Buying MALL is exactly the same as buying UBID. Shorting MALL is same as shorting UBID. Already, we're witnessing investors buying UBID via buying MALL. People who bought MALL at the close effectively paid $50 for a share of UBID. It's a risky gamble, IMO. I anticipate strong selling of MALL right after UBID first trade. If it opens high, I also anticipate strong shorting of MALL. I'm ready for the IPO. I would love to see UBID open at $200.

Regards,

Tom
