Tom,

I respect your persistence in trying to convince people on this thread that "shorting" MALL will be the right play...SOMEDAY!

If anyone on this thread had actually listened to you (which I am afraid some people may have), they must be cursing your name just about now!

You really "crack" me up with your REASONING for shorting MALL.

First of all: We are seeing a run-up on MALL that values UBIDs IPO at about $ 50 - TRUE!

However, let's assume investors are driving this stock to $55 - $60 by monday (BTW - I agree I think we will see this IPO no sooner than tuesday) which assumes an IPO price for UBID of around $65 - $70.

HIGH, however, not IMPOSSIBLE!

This internet mania really could warrant an IPO price of $90 to $100
(I am serious) which means MALL could be at $55 when UBID comes out at $90!

Well, that would mean everyone "short" MALL would either have to HOPE that UBID sells off all the way down to $65 (over 25 points - not likely) or cover their short position at a "HUGE" loss.

EITHER WAY - TOO RISKY TO CHANCE!

IMHO - NOT THE SMARTEST PLAY!

But Mr. Tom Hua, I wish you all the luck in the world - YOU'LL NEED IT!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Rico
