Another nice potential trade I'm considering is going long calls on Flextronics (FLEX) prior to it's 2-for-1 split.
This strategy has worked very well for me on stocks like dell, csco, aol, hd. Stocks in a SOLID uptrend prior to splitting almost always make a fierce move to the upside when the split is paid. I sell into the strength post split. The rally usually lasts the entire day after.
