<<What is causing todays strong rise? CD has been as high as 16 5/8 today so far>>

Hello Wren ! Now things are getting better :o)

The immediate answer is that CD just had its bond offering which was successful. In fact, they raised more money than they initially announced. This means that we are getting close to the stock buy-back announcement (Friday or next week?). Also, as you probably know, CD has a deal to sell its software division in a decent price range.

The rise does not surprise me. What always surprised me was that so-called experts were selling CD at anything near the recent low prices. I always said CD was way under-priced. It is nice to begin to see some vindication for my opinion.

I have recently invested heavily in starting businesses to directly service some of the customers and people which I feel CD has not, and does not, treat properly. CD operates in profitable markets and, in my opinion, not only exploits its shareholders but also some of its customers and employees. I plan to capitalize on that.

In the meantime, may CD continue to prosper ! When CD was @ $6.50, I was taking a beating. I like the recent prices much better. Even $ 20 looks in striking distance before the end of the year.

CD: $ 16.75
