I imagine it's quite easy to transpose a number and completely foul yourself up.

I've done that, too. I've mis-typed numbers, put decimal points in the wrong place, etc. Interestingly this has never caused a major problem. The leaks from the future are much more serious.

Incidentally I have more than a few problems with quirky crashes, etc. as well that they were unable to resolve. At this point I did not resubscribe because I preferred to just use what I've got for awhile. I am taking the cheap approach for now. I also am using only free data. I will re-evaluate both positions after Christmas. My next priority is getting a PII-450 to replace this Cyrix so that my models won't take 4 days to generate. Right now I have to do without things like walk-forward testing, etc, and I usually use only BP models due to slow FPU performance.
