Pinnacle sent me a program that eliminates the need for GETDATA. I least I think it does.

Well okay, while I'm starting the machine and program I have to say Mike did not seem like a "newbie" to me.

He said he was running models for quite some time and they blew up on him in the summer, don't you recall? He was the guy who said he had to go back to day-trading, something he had not done in years.

In any event, one month of success is great but you really have to see how it goes in the long haul. Mike found that out himself when he had to scrap his models for daytrading last summer.

Okay, the Pinnacle Update folder's last post date was for E_981125.clc and Db981125.clc and .idx; but the files that start out with "D_" only get up to D_981118 for .clc and .idx. Also, the are no files at all for E_98xxxx.idx

So now I'm more confused than ever. I could understand if they all had the same date but not only do I have oddball dates but one entire file appears not to exist.

What do you do to get the data in, use DPACKER like Optim?

EDIT:
<The fact that Mike can approach or surpass GZ in the last month >

By the way, GZ's trade is only just over a month old, don't forget. It has not been that long since the spoo was below 1000.
