The GSM 900/1800 dual band market is cooking. As I mentioned

debry.com

earlier, the Singapore deal was the real corker - Nokia faced competition from 13 other providers! The initial worth of the Singapore deal was pretty small, but they are committed to spend over 1,2 billion US dollars in expanding that first network in the near future.

The New Zealand deal was the big ADSL/IP breakthrough for Nokia. And the TETRA trials in Hungary are consolidating Nokia's position as selling more TETRA equipment than the rest of the world's companies put together.

Not a bad infrastructure week - there's finally a bit more traction here after a period when handset sales seemed to totally eclipse the network division. Happy Thanksgiving for people who are into that sort of thing! It's getting downright sappy at the Qcom thread. OK, I love you too. Sorry about the subliminal advertising.
