<Have you heard of bull and bear spreads?> Yes, I think I'd be more comfortable playing a spread than a covered call on something as volatile as YHOO. You seemed to be comfortable with your $200 covered call position despite the theoretical possibility of a gap down to say $50. I would say your risk is huge if this were to happen. The premium on the call is your only downside protection here and unless you are writing very deep in the money calls its not much. Can't say I really understand your strategies but good luck and may the bubble never burst. Brad
