So if this is the issue with NOVL then you would have to say this is the same issue with countless other companies - including MSFT.

I dont really see the problem here Dwight. Six of one or half dozen of another.

I would guess that NOVL could also continue with their stock option plan (which so many other companies have in place) and not buy back the stock. That only means the dilution continues to get worse and stockholder dividends are reduced and the report in earnings per share reduces.

You likely have a better understanding of the finance and accounting area than do I, but I dont see the problem. And whatever the issue is, its not unique to NOVL, now is it.
