Drew, you are right, especially in view of Dell Japan's decision to sell all kinds of hardware and software via the internet. I believe that this is Dell's answer to the question some of us posed previously: how does Dell leverage its position to continue to deliver hypergrowth? I made the mistake of thinking of Dell as a JIT assembler and distributor. I ignored the fact that for years Dell has teamed with Sony to drop-ship monitors to customers (without ever taking physical delivery of the monitor). I think that what is happening in Japan is a roll-out of the new Dell. It can leverage its position as a preeminent technology supplier. Have a great Thanksgiving, all. TTFN, CTC
