Online retailer is trying to revive CYBERCOMMERCE: Shopping.com has enjoyed a bounce in its stock price and says vital financing will be announced next week. ... Shopping.com's upturn comes even though the 2-year-old company has yet to find necessary capital. The company told the Securities and Exchange Commission in July that it needed more money or it would close its doors at the end of its current fiscal year. Nov. 10, a Shopping.com executive said the company was a week away from announcing a financing deal with what he termed a "Fortune 200" investor. Now, that financing will come next week at the earliest. "We'll have an announcement on Monday," said Shopping.com Chairman Frank Denny, who declined to elaborate. "Stay tuned."
