John, Check in MSWIN Explorer Equis for the Exploration "MACD Buy Signal". This searches for a cross of the MACD oscillator with its 9-day exponential moving average. This will give you some ideas. If you want the signal with MACD below the 0 line as well, add "AND MACD()<0" to the filter formula. MS Explorer is powerful. Reading/scanning the MSWIN manual for ideas/tips will help a lot.
