Spyglass Inc opens office to serve Europe

NAPERVILLE, Ill., Jan 14 (Reuter) - Spyglass Inc said Tuesday it opened Spyglass Europe Ltd., a sales and support operation headquartered outside
London in Windsor, Berkshire, to capitalize on the growing interest overseas for Internet technology and services.

The operations will be headed by Managing Director David Harris-Evans. Harris-Evans had been European managing director of Seagate Software, formerly
Palindrome Corp.

In April 1996, Spyglass established a Spyglass International subsidiary based in Naperville, Ill. to run its overseas operations. It also formed Spyglass
Asia-Pacific, headquartered in Hong Kong.

"We have seen increasing interest in our device strategy overseas," said Doug Colbeth, Spyglass president, said in a statement. "The need to have a direct
presence in the European arena is critical to our future growth," he said.

Spyglass provides software and services to make devices work with the World Wide Web.
