Weather is a favorite excuse of poor managements. I can understand an electric utility or a lawn mower manufacturer being effected by weather, but a restaurant? Another point I would make on that subject is that I have never heard a company say, "Well, earnings wouldn't have been that great, but we got favorable weather." When earnings are good its brilliant management, when they're bad its the weather or some other excuse.
