Placer has sure livened the action on what seemed to be a done deal. How can Barrick say that the Placer offer of a share exchange won't affect them? Wouldn't it result in Barrick and Placer having to work together on Busang? Any chance of the other big gold companies trying a share exchange on Bre-X? Anglo-American?
