Re: Neal, the Clear Logic process is aimed at Altera's "mature" products. It just means Altera must keep innovating faster. Certainly does not hurt the stock price. wj

My understanding is that Altera will also sell you a mask programmed gate arrayed version of its programmable chips when your volume requirements for a particular design justify the NRE. Do you know how Clear Logic's product stacks up against this product line of Altera's? As I see it, this is the product of Altera's that Clear Logic competes with -- not the main programmable product lines.
