Crispin My broker deals with Wood Gundy in London who apparently make a market in US and Canadian shares. They then "close" the deal on the NASDAQ,etc. In this case of GERN they had the cheek to phone my broker 10 minutes before NASDAQ opening to say they would lose about $5000 on this deal as the opening was considerably higher than what they had sold to me.
