UT: I'm not into puts - calls. I have given it consideration, but really don't understand well enough to take that avenue.

For years I let my full-service broker do my thinking for me and then my close friend retired and a year went by without one call from the broker. On my own initiative I decided to sell Cracker Barrel which I'd held since 1980 and had done quite well with. It had become stagnant and is still. When I got the commission bill I called and asked what service was worth this kind of commission? As you can suspect, the new agent assigned to me couldn't give me an answer other than telling me they were there when I needed them.

On October 1, 1997 I transferred all of my stock to ETrade and have been obtaining an education in the street. I can say that at this point I may know what I'm doing when I buy-sell the real thing. Puts and Calls may be in my future.
