Looks like there is a possibility here of selling more eqipment to The Weather Channel as they try to stay ahead of the competition. Also perhaps NBC will look towards Wegener for eqipment since they already have experience thru providing TWC with the "weather star". Heres the quote that caught my eye:

"The next-generation “Weather Star” boxes that TWC will roll out next year will provide the technology to make some of these applications easily doable, according to Eckert."
