As someone who has several years experience in selling puts and covered calls, I can assure you that, without using theoretical math models, the rate of return on near term covered calls is greater than long term covered calls. (and short puts). 3% is a conservative monthly rate of return. My standard is $1000 per $30,000 invested in the tech field. Dell offers a better rate.
