El or anybody: My dilemma for the day. My best friend from Canada, who happens to be an American from Minneapolis, has invited me to spend five days with him and his kids in St. Paul and environs over Christmas. My friend is a pure intellectual. Yes he wants to chat existentialism, the curse of feminism in universities and Weberian analysis of the military, but the only reason he gave to induce me to visit him was "The Mall of America". What is this Mall - is it like the Taj Mahal, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, Notre Dame Cathedral or what? Will my breath freeze in the twin cities in late December. And what do I wear? Victor
