>> Given the 12/3 visits, any ideas when we might see some houses initiate coverage? <<
Red Chip Review in Portland, OR already initiated coverage, and then withdrew it when Cal Reed, the then CEO, resigned. Red Chip is a respected small company analyst which apparently got a little too excited, too soon. Hey, it can happen.
Listening to the conference calls, some of the questioners are from very large brokerage houses, and they ask astute questions. VLNC is already well on some radar screens, so I would expect that recommendations will come shortly. I think evidence of customers is holding them back, and announcement of customers is slow because of the way contracts may be being constructed.
Lev Dawson, CEO, in the most recent conference call, said that he thinks that the visitors will find a "real" company here. (He was calling from Northern Ireland.) I believe that he is still there. I am supposing that he is there to give personal tours to prospective customers and wine and dine them.
A "real" company implies saleable products, customers, and busy employees. I suspect that is why the stock is rising. |
