jach, the price paid for any commodity and equity as well is determined by the perceived value at a certain time either at present or in the future... AMZN has shown everyone that they can grow and expand... they started with books, now into videos and CDs... its not that they are running a bad operation losing money right and left... but they are expanding aggressively... and no guts, no glory... did you know that at the start the founder of AMAZON.com (forgot his name) could not get venture capital for his idea... he persisted... and lets not forget that he had the vision to do all this...and about 75 or 80% of the stock is still within the company... and that is an excellent indicator for me...all this is what makes me willing to pay $100, $200 or even $250 for AMZN....

if one is not gifted with a sharp entrepreneurial vision, that should not stop him or her from betting on one who is.... in my opinion...

Best Regards
Amein
