reh,

As a general rule I believe it is considered a bearish signal to have low volume/up price movement, but I also believe that general rule of thumb is to be used as a guide in conformity with the trend. For example, if a stock has been trending downward and it gets an "up day" on low volume, it's a bull trap. Volume and price movement should confirm each other and indeed, when we had that heavy volume day several weeks ago and the stock dropped over $4, it could have very well been considered a bearish signal, but look how it bounced back significantly higher from that level. My conclusion at the time was that we had washed out the last remaining significant resistance and the stock price movement since then has bore that out.

Obviously I don't believe that RMBS will move in a straight line up from here at this level, so I would suggest that anyone wanting to buy RMBS here, look for any dips and buy them. The tough part is if you get greedy and expect a major move down and it doesn't materialize, you may end of cheating yourself.

I don't profess to call tops or bottoms, I study stock trends and if you're short right now, I think you're on the wrong side of the equation. Sorry. JMO
