Janice, Your agony over the market's direction reminds me once again why I'm a "daytrader" and not an investor. There is no gnashing of teeth and hair pulling (Yes, I still have plenty of hair - although not blonde) and sleepless nights trying to divine the next day's action. It's so nice to not worry whether the market is going up or down, whether Alan (the other one) will hike fed rates, BTBs, or irrational exuberance will be the order of the day. Who cares? Not I! Cynical sounding isn't it? But it works. As I was teaching someone the trade not long ago, he suddenly exclaimed, "You're like a piranha in the market, darting here and there and taking a bite at a time." Guess he had a point. I know, I know, it just reminded you of another recipe. Stewed piranha. Yum! Since you enjoy humor, I'm sure you would chuckle at the raw emotion expressed on our daytrader's mIRC channel as we do our nasty business.
