fascinating idea but lots of issues in both market understanding and technology. Few of the technologies which create a radical departure in usage model have received good acceptance - remember in the early '80s when Genreal Motors bought Hughes Aerospace partly to get the 'heads-up' display technology? They're still trying to find a market for that concept, seems like people are more comfortable with dials and gages they can actually touch than a 'virtual' display floating out in space.
