The deal with Cambior -

is for the purchase of stock which will give Zappa one and
one half million dollars. Cambior has a 3 year agreement
with Zappa ( that they can cancel) that started in Sept. 1995
to develop the La Plata property. The stock deal is expected
to be finalized the third week of January.

Cambior has done limited drilling on this property, drilling
only 8 holes. La plata has known reserves of a few hundred
thousand ounces of gold, with silver, and other minerals.
It was in production years ago under another company.

Like all small caps, the stock price can be very volatile.
If you purchased it at around C.40 - .45 expect a run up
before mid February to about C1.00, possibly to resistance of
C$1.26. A good purchasing level is C.40 - C.45 below this level and it
can drop to C.19 the next low. But very unlikely to sink this low.
