Skeeter Bug,

It's hard for me to explain to you how I came up with my numbers for the stock. In the first place you are looking at the Fundamentals of the Company; me, I'm looking at the price of the stock. I have known for several years now that the Stock is always ahead of the Company's health.

I have known AMAT for more than 20 years and have a good Feel of how its stock gyrates in price in different situations. Although my target price of 126 last year was too optimistic, still it's better than the target price of most of the people in this Thread that just called for as much as 65 for Fundamental reasons.

By the way, I know most AMAT Investors tend to forget about stock splits; they know their shares doubled or quadrupled but that's it. For, how can we explain almost identical Bottoms in 1996 and 1998 (without adjusting for splits); ending prices at the low to mid 30s for 4 years in a row --- while the stock have split not only once at that time period?...

I have reasons to believe AMAT this time is more Popular and is being afforded a higher Premium by Investors --- that's why I'm projecting higher Hi's for the stock...
