A retailer with an internet sales site, and still below book value?
How about a company sell jewelry, electronics, toys, etc., attempting a turnaround, with website sales and revamped stores -- with sales over $3 billion per year and a market cap of about $112 million? Do your own due diligence on SME (www.servicemerchandise.com) -- the business has had problems, and maybe it is not worth more than about 1/75th of EBAY (based on today's price of 1 1/8).
But what would happen in this market if the management happened to put out a press release touting the bargains on its website? -- Shoe (long SME, short EBAY)
