Cash tied up in DLGC represents lost opportunity.

I think it is just the opposite. This is one of those hidden value stocks. Much of the "frenzy" you speak about is stocks recovering after being beaten down, many of which have failed to fully recover or in the case of DLGC started to recover. Many are just the beginnings of the latest Tulip market.
