French fry vending machine manufacturer to bring 100 jobs to New Hampshire

(Concord, N.H.) Tasty Fries, the company that has developed and perfected the patented state-of-the-art robotic vending machine that dispenses freshly-cooked hot, crisp and tasty french fries within 90 seconds, announced today that it will locate its support headquarters and contract manufacturing services from Pennsylvania early next year, bringing at least 100 new jobs to the Granite State. Company President Ed Kelly made the announcement at a press conference held at the State House in Concord. During the press conference, the company demonstrated the french fry vending machine and offered samples to those in attendance.

"We are extremely pleased that Tasty Fries has chosen to come to New Hampshire," says Governor Jeanne Shaheen. "It is a tribute to our business-friendly environment, our positive tax structure and, of course, our outstanding quality of life. The growth of this kind of innovative company will generate many high-quality jobs, both at Tasty Fries and the firms and suppliers that will be involved in building the vending machines."

"As the demand for such a breakthrough vending machine became clear,Tasty Fries began a search for a location where all the components necessary to build, service and support such a machine would be available," said Kelly.

"We were very impressed by the 'can do' attitude we found in New
Hampshire. Everything we need is available and we found the people we met ready to do business. Especially exciting was the cooperation of state government, something we had not found elsewhere."

According to Kelly, the decision to locate in New Hampshire was partially due to the availability of qualified companies capable of supplying the subassemblies that make up the Tasty Fries machine. In January, the Department of Resources and Economic Development's Procurement Technical Assistance Program will work with Tasty Fries to provide New Hampshire companies with the opportunity to view the vending machine and bid on producing one or more of the machine's 15 subassemblies.
