We should all be listening to each other to figure out how to make money rather than press one point or the other - it's nice being "right" but it's much nicer having listened to opposing views and making the right decisions that in turn put money in your pocket (as opposed to "paper profits").

I wish I would have listened more to the bulls and gone with the flow. I think that the "gold rush" analogy is actually very accurate: many people are selling their "farms" to go with the stampede in pursuit of the new "Internet gold". The fact that only a handful of companies will strike it rich in the long run is not important. The gleem in speculators eyes will make the "getting there" more important for the next couple of years than what you have when you get "there". It wasn't the '49 ers who struck it rich in California but the merchants and outfitters who helped exchange their money for the chance to go after the new dream.
