George, you are far more correct than you are even stating here! Regardless, there's no point worrying about it one way or the other. FACTS: Calling in your certificates, does us DCTC investors NO HARM It may or may not bring some BENEFIT. Therefore if you are a long-term holder, WHY NOT call in your certificates? I hold most of my long-term stuff at home. I don't trust brokers, shorters, clearing agents. Ever have your broker go outta business while he still has your certs? Not pretty! Colin
