Viagra to Penetrate South Korean Market Next June Friday 27 November, 1998 3:40 AM AEST SEOUL, Nov 27 Asia Pulse - South Korean men will be able to purchase Viagra, an oral medication for erectile dysfunction, as early as next June. The Korea Food and Drug Administration (KFDA) Friday designated five additional hospitals for clinical testing of the treatment. The Youngdong Severance Hospital had previously been the only facility where clinical tests were conducted. Accordingly, the test period for the pill will be shortened to three or four months. "Considering the timetable for clinical testing and an analysis of results, I think Viagra can be sold to Korean consumers around next June," an official with the KFDA said. A total of 120-130 sexully dysfunctional males will take part in clinical tests at the six hospitals. (Yonhap) yahoo.com.au
