I agree to some extent regarding the Stones as being one of the best of the best. However, anyone who lived during the onset of the Beatles in the 60's would most likely put them at the top of the heap. Never before, or since has there been such an incredible out-pouring of affection and excitement for a band. Beatle cards, wigs, boots, dolls, movies, cartoons and much more.They were deeply loved - and to this day, in my opionion have no match in fan relationship, music proliferation or lyrical quality.
