With Generic and other similar brokers (like AB Watley's Ultimate Trader or MB Trading), aren't you limited to 1000 shares every five minutes? For trading through the SOES system, I believe you can only put in 1 order every five minutes. Although, I know that you can trade off of an ECN like Island for greater amounts. But then, you have to wait until an Island bid or offer comes in. So, its seems that if you want to trade larger than 1000 shares at time, the SOES system may not be optimal. Am I correct?
