Hi Alan: first thanks for the picture it was great! postage stamps,public transportation,cabs,theatre and movie tickets,cable tv,bank fees,telephone bills,hidden costs in telephone bills,health insurance,animal food,vet bills,clothes(they have gotten for most part chinzier though),sneakers,tennis balls,squash balls,health club costs,cds,babysitters,nannies,private schools and colleges,public colleges,most food in NYC supermarkets,restaurants,cleaning bills,utility bills,airplane tickets,hotels,motels,paperbacks,flowers,most of service industry what has gotten cheaper:mortgage rates although housing and rentals have gone way up,high tech although more bells and whistles,(cereal here is still expensive,cellular phone calls,long distance..especially when you think most commodities are at 20 year low..film costs,made in SE Asia goods,price of gold,wages in terms of buying(not borrowing) power this was just off top of my head bobby |
