Spots most of us have found that it's more productive to leave our machines running than to turn them off. I Know the consensus is to leave the machine on..... and I can power down everything but the fan on this Mac. But why not give it (the fan) a rest every now and then? Wouldn't that prolong its life? Does a continuous use rating really mean a fan will last just as long whether or not it is used continuously or discontinuously? I'm very interested in the answer to this last question. Clarence
